Intergenerational Meeting with Melinda Wenner Bradley
We are excited that Melinda Wenner Bradley, Director of Programs for PYM, is open to share with all of us a demonstration of an Intergenerational Meeting Gathering. Melinda has worked with meetings, nationally and internationally, to engage all and deepen periods of worship. She typically uses 15 minutes at the beginning of worship to interact with all present. The younger children are encouraged to gather round on the rug in the center of the meeting room while either a Biblical and/or Quaker story is shared and reflected upon. She poses open, honest questions. Her meeting, West Chester, uses such worship deepening opportunities once a quarter.
