Second Annual raising of the Canopy, for meetings outside.

Although we did not break into song, seeing the pictures seems reminiscent of an old familiar song:

""Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves,
Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.
Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,
Fearing neither clouds nor winter's chilling breeze;
By and by the harvest, and the labor ended,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves."

The tent is up, the first plan is to make use of it to meet outside.

Friends are invited to come and sit and eat together.

Lunch--- First and Third Wednesdays at Noon

Dinner--- Second and Fourth Mondays at 6:00pm

People coming for lunch or dinner will be asked to bring their own food, a chair, and wear a mask when they are not eating or drinking.  We also need people to host these events. The host’s only responsibility is to commit to be there on a particular date.  The plan is to keep the Canopy up until October.  Please contact George Castellano (see newsletter and calendar, in sidebar) if you are able to host a lunch or dinner on a particular date.
