Join us for a service of readings, music, stories and carols at 5:00 p.m. at the Meetinghouse. Children are welcome. Childcare will be available for children unable to sit through the hour-long service.
Join us for an intergenerational potluck on Friday, October 27 at 6 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity for newcomers and longer-attending Friends to get to know one another better. Good food! Games and activities! Wear a costume if you wish. Bring your favorite potluck dish (no peanuts though). Childcare provided.
An excellent resource about Quakerism is the recent issue of Christian History which is fully devoted to Quaker History. It is titled The Surprising Quakers: Heralds of Peace ina world of conflict. It contains 10 articles by a number of prominent US Quakers representing various strands of Quakerism in the US.
