Come and hear Marcelle Martin, a Quaker from Pennsylvania, talk about her new book "Our Life is Love: The Quaker Spiritual Journey" from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 20th. Marcelle's new book describes ten essential elements of the Quaker spiritual journey, as experienced by the first Quakers and by contemporary Friends.
An excellent resource about Quakerism is the recent issue of Christian History which is fully devoted to Quaker History. It is titled The Surprising Quakers: Heralds of Peace ina world of conflict. It contains 10 articles by a number of prominent US Quakers representing various strands of Quakerism in the US.
