What Canst Thou Say: Spiritual Inquiry Grounded in Worship Sharing
What Canst Thou Say offers a new twist to the eRetreat format, fostering spiritual community through a focus on worship sharing around the Bible and the Quaker tradition using passages from texts by Friends (and others) and the Bible verses that informed them. This will be a work-in-progress so each week may be different from previous ones. No experience with the Bible or Quaker history is necessary. Everyone is welcome. What Canst Thou Say is not meeting to teach a particular understanding but to listen to the Spirit within ourselves and one other. The facilitators ask that everyone be present with an attitude of openness and curiosity and a willingness to "listen in tongues".
Saturdays Starting April 11, 2020
What Canst Thou Say will meet weekly on Saturdays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Central via Zoom for worship, worship sharing and spiritual exploration. An on-line platform for course communication, written discussion and to share supplemental materials will be used for those who enjoy more engagement. The same Zoom link will be used throughout the entirety of this event and participants are welcome to attend when able and miss when not. This series will continue through the end of May. Zoom link provided upon RSVP.
