Couple Enrichment for Friends - One-Day Workshop Mar 22

Leaders Marsha and Mike Green

When was the last time you took time out to tend your relationship? Do we seek the Divine in our relationships and why does it matter? How do we witness to our peace, equality, and community testimonies in our relationships?

If these questions pique your interest then you may be interested in this one-day workshop to take time out with your beloved. And if you like this workshop--or if a one day is not long enough for you--then come to a weekend retreat, May 9-11. (See separate announcement for details). Both are offered under the care of the Couple Enrichment program of Friends General Conference and with the support of the Durham Friends Meeting.

Facilitated by Mike and Marsha Green, trained leaders in the FGC-CE program since 1998, these events will deepen intimacy, identify areas of growth, and develop listening skills in a safe and loving setting.

During the workshop, couples will worship and work together individually and in small groups. This event is open to any couple in a committed relationship, regardless of legal status.

The Inside Scoop

Marsha and Mike Green were married in 1982 and have led workshops for parents and for couples since 1990. They bring to their ministry a deep commitment to love as compassionate peacemaking. They understand their marriage to be a divine gift that, like all such gifts, needs constant tending.

In a workshop, Mike and Marsha model and participate in all group activities, constantly enriching their own relationship while tenderly inviting each person to find a deeper level of intimacy with their beloved. They ask each person and each couple to be deep wells of peace for themselves, their families, their communities and the world.
