Recent information shows that New Castle County and the rest of Delaware are areas of "high" COVID transmission (https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view). CDC guidelines now recommend that all individuals (vaccinated and un-vaccinated) wear a mask when indoors. For these reasons, since August 15, 2021, and until further notice, Hockessin Friends Meeting has and will require that all members and attenders wear masks when inside the meetinghouse and other HFM buildings. In addition, all HEPA filters will be operating.

Business meeting and meeting for worship on the first Sunday of each month will continue to be held on Zoom. Meeting for worship on other Sundays will be held both inperson and via Zoom.

Friends may participate in our Zoom meetings for worship First Days at 10:45 a.m. Our Zoom Meeting ID is 863-908-9345; the Password is 1. Friends may also join the Zoom meetings by calling: 1-301-715-8592 and then entering 863-908-9345# (and # to skip participant ID) and then the password 1#.

Starting September 12, in-person meeting for worship (on non-business meeting Sundays) will be held outside in front of the meetinghouse. Masks will not be required for outdoor worship. Worshippers should bring their own chairs. In case of inclement weather, meeting for worship will be moved indoors (masks required). Both outdoor and indoor worship will be accessible via Zoom.
