On January 8, 2022, Medford Meeting hosted a workshop on DEPOLARIZING CONVERSATIONS ABOUT RACE given by the national organization of Braver Angels.  Launched in 2016, Braver Angels is a bipartisan citizen’s movement to unify our divided nation. By bringing Red and Blue Americans together into a working alliance, we’re building new ways to talk to one another, participate together in public life, and influence the direction of the nation.

 The goal of this workshop was to develop more skill for listening to others and expressing your own views on race and public policy in a way that leads to more productive conversations across differences.  About 30 participants from various parts of the country joined the 3-hour workshop on Zoom.  Medford Meeting plans to offer this workshop again and invite the local community to participate.  More information for this upcoming workshop will be posted soon.
