Meeting with Attention to Business

Each month, North Columbus Friends welcome everyone to attend the Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business. This is the time where our Meeting conducts business such as adjusting budgets, hearing from committees, meeting-wide projects, and other matters that are important to Columbus Quakers.

This meeting occurs on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 2:00pm via Zoom. Companionable listeners are welcome! Please contact the Clerk at NorthColumbusFriends@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more, getting the agenda, or if you have accessibility questions.

Quakerism 101

A hybrid (those at the Meetinghouse utilize a camera and microphone to interact with those online) or on-line class that meets from September to May (skipping Dec) covering topics that are of interest to a person with any level of Quaker knowledge and experience and with any relationship with any branch of Quakerism. When hybrid, the Outreach/Inreach Committee hosts a snack table with vegetarian options (vegan available upon request) then moves into a discussion with an activity.

These classes differ from Seeking Quakers by being an open discussion with an activity. It is less "specific question" and worship sharing based. RSVP or registration are not required.

If you have any questions, would like the link to join, or have accessibility needs, please e-mail the clerk of the committee at outreachinreach@gmail.com

Quarterly Potluck

Around March, June, September, and late November, the North Columbus Friends community gathers around a table to break bread, share some laughs, and listen to each other. Attendees are only required to bring themselves. RSVP or registration are not required.

Please contact the clerk of the committee if you have any questions, would like to share about a food allergy we need to know about, or have accessibility needs, outreachinreach@gmail.com

Seeking Quakers

Interested in learning more about Quakers? Interested in deepening your sense of Truth and the Inner Light with Friends? Join us online at 6:00pm on the 1st Wednesday of the month to explore a query (that’s Quakerspeak for an open-ended question) and related readings. The query and readings will be posted in advance on the NCFM event calendar, the Facebook event page and sent out via the NCFM email list. Participate at your comfort level. Companionable listeners are welcome. Registration or RSVP are not required.

Seeking Quakers may be on hiatus during some summer months. See the event calendar for more information.
