Fiber and Handwork Gathering

Saturday and Sunday, November 12th and 13th, 2016

Huntingdon Meeting House

2206 Cassady Ave. Huntingdon, PA

Come join Friends of all ages for an hour or two or a whole weekend of fun with fiber and other handcrafts. Knitting, crocheting, spinning, felting, quilting and more. Bring your own supplies and skills or just come and let us share ours. Friendly lessons will be available all day.

Saturday

10am-noon – Fiber activities and lessons. Bring your own projects to work on and get help with problems or learn something new.

Noon – potluck lunch – Bring a dish to share, place settings will be provided.

1:30pm-5pm – Ginny Mutti will teach those interested how to needle felt small items. Materials will be provided.

6-7pm – simple dinner & clean up

7-9pm or later -  a relaxed evening of more fiber activities and a discussion on the Transition Movement. Learn more at Transition Towns, Transition Movement

Sunday

8 – 9am blueberry pancake breakfast

10:30 Meeting for Worship

Noon – simple lunch of leftovers

After lunch – finishing up projects and packing up

Children of all ages are welcome to come participate in the activities!
