Three West Philly Friends gathered together as the sun rose on the Philadelphia skyline across the Schuylkill River.  Silent worship was held while seated on a white tablecloth in an open meadow.  Hymn singing included "Nearer My God To Thee", "Men whose boast it is, that ye", among others from A Hymnal for Friends.

One worshipper had some difficulty seeing the sun, given that it was shining from behind thick cloud cover over the horizon.  But we assured them that it was still there. Yes it is, as sure as, well, the sun.
