This is the first Light in Action program of 2013, sponsored by the Adult Education committee:

6:00 – 7:00   Catered Dinner ($8 adults, $5 children)
                        Vegetarian dinner catered by Sitar, Saladelia or Refrectory.
7:00 – 8:00   Program in Worship Room.

Heidi Hart will share her journey as a musician, writer, and Friend toward the study of music in relation to violence. Military marches, concentration-camp orchestras, protest songs, "music torture," and sound memorials show how close this relation can be. Heidi will share examples of music that respond to a broken world and will bring her harp to conclude with some group singing.
