Sunday March 8, 4-6p at the Meeting House

Join us as we discuss chapters 3 and 4 of Michelle Alexander's book The New Jim Crow, about mass incarceration and the current racial caste system in America.  It's a powerful book--one that may open your eyes to current injustices akin to slavery and Jim Crow laws.  This book is spiritually enriching, deeply connected to the testimonies of peace, equality, and community.

If you haven't read the book, we'd still love you to come!  The discussion is spiritually rich, even to listen to.  Your voices, and your silent holding of the light, are both important.

We imagine that we will also meet to discuss the final two chapters of the book two weeks from this meeting: on March 22nd.
