About 50 adults and children gathered in the backyard of the Meeting House in the afternoon of Sunday, July 3,  for a fun time of food, games, and visiting. 

Special guests were the Afghan refugee families who have moved to Frederick since December 2021. The party was hosted jointly by Frederick Friends Meeting (FFM)  and the Refugee Welcoming Committee of Frederick (RWC). FFM has been a part of the RWC coalition since its inception and has partnered with others to resettle seven Afghan families in Frederick.
