GUIDELINES FOR IN-PERSON GETHERINGS AT

HANOVER FRIENDS MEETING

UPDATE OCTOBER 2022

The current situation vis-à-vis COVID continues to be unpredictable. We ask you to take the following recommendations to heart, for both your own and other’s well-being. Please note that these recommendations are subject to change.

We strongly recommend full vaccination (including all boosters) for everyone who is eligible.

If you or family members have symptoms associated with COVID, please stay home. We welcome your joining us in our remote worship.

We ask everyone to sign in with the requested information upon entry to the building. We will use this information for contact tracing purposes.

We encourage mask wearing (e.g. N-95), and ask that you use your discretion when you choose whether to wear one. Singing before worship may resume with participants wearing masks.

Children are always welcome to join Meeting for Worship and First Day programs and may wear masks at their parents’ discretion.

Physical distancing remains important, especially when considering potential risk factors, such as numbers in a group, eating, the shared activity and masking.

Fellowship – gathering for fellowship and scheduled programs after worship will now move inside. After worship, please spread out in our well-ventilated downstairs rooms.

Food will not available for the time being. Brown bag lunches may be brought in when a program follows worship. The clerk will designate eating areas after worship.

Committees may make their own decisions regarding mask use and safe group numbers when convening at the Meeting House. Please contact the caretaker to schedule meetings so they appear on the calendar for others ‘planning.

IF YOU TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID

Please contact our clerk, Rhea McKay (802-785-4948). She along with members of the Fellowship Committee, will activate contact tracing.
