November Business

The November business meeting of MFM began with a passage from the Quaker mystic, Thomas R. Kelly, and a query:

A deep-throated bell, muffled or clear, comes ringing in the ears of our souls from a distant shore in Eternity and awakens in us a vague uneasiness, a homesickness, a longing. Thomas R. Kelly, 1940

When I listen within to my place of deep spiritual knowing, what is it that I most long for?

The meeting included approval for a Christmas Eve worship, at 6:00 pm, to be followed by refreshments, either indoors or outdoors. The meeting is still seeking clarity whether it is time to resume indoor potluck fellowship. Look for an email soon from the MFM Ministry & Nurture Committee, soliciting your input.

Thomas R. Kelly's book, A Testament of Devotion, is available for checkout from the MFM library.
