Committees & Officers

In unprogrammed Quaker meetings there is no paid clergy.  The clerk(s) of the Meeting are resources for general information and ensure that Meeting business is conducted.  Most of the work of the Meeting is done by meeting members and attenders who volunteer through the committee structure (see descriptions below).  With two exceptions, all committee meetings welcome all members and attenders who might be interested in the work of the committee.  The committees whose attendance is closed to committee members only are designated below with an astersisk.  Committees which have closed attendance deal with sensitive information about individuals and are closed to ensure respect of privacy of members and attenders.  If you feel lead to participate in those meetings, please contact the clerk of that committee to secure an invitation.
