TOMORROW, Saturday, December 3 from 1:00-4:00 PM

Dayton Friends Meeting - very close to Yellow Springs Meeting - has invited anyone who is interested to come and learn about an exciting project that the Dayton meeting is beginning.  They are forming a grassroots Advocacy Team, supported by the Friends Committee on National Legislation, to advocate for federal policies on peace and justice with a focus in 2023 on ending U.S. support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen.

These teams work to influence Congressional action through persistent advocacy, media engagement, and public outreach as part of a national network of 130 teams in 44 states. If you're interested in learning more about the team, or just strengthening your grassroots advocacy skills, join them on Saturday, December 3 from 1:00-4:00 PM ET for an in-person workshop with FCNL. We encourage anyone who is interested to register for any of the workshops or meetings listed. Financial assistance to attend can be provided from the Spiritual Enrichment Fund. Contact Pat DeWees, Clerk of the Membership & Pastoral Care Committee, which oversees that fund.  Shared rides can also be arranged!
