Stillwater OK Friends Meeting
Stillwater Quakers invite you to join us for worship in the manner of Friends (unprogrammed, silent worship) at 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We meet in the stone Lodge built by Stillwater Girl Scouts and located across from the Stillwater Library. Enter from the parking lot.
An unusually large number of people attended our Love Feast on May 4, so many that we could not fulfill any take-out orders! The Stillwater Quakers feed dozens of people every other month at the First United Methodist Church's South Campus.
The Love Feast is a community effort. For more information about all the dates and times they are held please click here.
All meeting members are invited to Keith and Christine Garbutt's house for an evening of competition in board games. Games will be available for the children also. It is potluck, so please bring a dish of food or drink.
Before our normal 11:00 AM worship we will have religious education for adults, beginning at 9:45. We will discuss a short reading from John Calvi's book The Dance Between Hope and Fear.
Join us on Sunday morning, August 17, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. to share about your spiritual life. We will use a writing by Marcelle Martin to start our thoughts and sharing.
Worship with us!
